BITTER ROD: Islamic State invents torture device to terrify women

– The Islamic has invented a horrific torture device to terrify women in Iraq. – Called ‘The Biter’, it rips flesh way from the bone, causing intense pain worse than childbirth. – The terror group uses such devices to retain control over large swathes of the Middle East. The so-called Islamic State terror group is using a sick torture device to inspire terror in the women living under its rule in the Iraqi city of Mosul. Woman who don’t adhere to the severe dress code enforced by savage ISIS terror thugs are being lashed with a spiked metal torture tool dubbed ‘The Biter’. Refugees fleeing the terror group say the tool is similar to a medieval torture device and rips off pieces of skin.

A former school director, who fled from the city earlier this month, describes the tool as causing agonising pain by clipping off pieces of flesh. Fatima, a 22-year-old housewife who does not want to give her full name, said she had finally escaped from Mosul after several failed attempts. “The Biter has become a nightmare for us,” Fatima said. “My sister was punished harshly last month because she had forgotten her gloves and left them at home.”

Fatima said that a month after the use of this metal tool to punish her sister, the bruises and scars are still visible on her arm. She quoted her sister as saying that the biting punishment is more painful than labour pains. Other witnesses describe the Biter as operating like an animal trap, or a metal jaw with teeth that cut into the flesh. However, people from the city, who have had themselves smuggled across the border to Syria and then to Kurdish-controlled territory known as Rojava in the past two months, all confirm that living conditions have deteriorated sharply. Baby milk has not been available for six months and other foodstuffs are prohibitively expensive, with rice costing N2000 a kilo.
