“But Abimelech had not slept with her yet, so he said, “Lord, will you destroy an innocent nation? 5 Didn’t Abraham tell me, ‘She is my sister’? And she herself said, ‘Yes, he is my brother.’ I acted in complete innocence! My hands are clean.”6 In the dream God responded, “Yes, I know you are innocent. That’s why I kept you from sinning against me, and why I did not let you touch her. 7 Now return the woman to her husband, and he will pray for you, for he is a prophet. Then you will live. But if you don’t return her to him, you can be sure that you and all your people will die.” Gen 20:4-6.

1. Remember adultery is a sin before God. God will do everything to prevent you from sinning.
2. Don’t sleep with any other woman who is not your wife because she agreed. She may be a victim of circumstances like Sarah agreeing to the lie of Abraham.
3. God will give you ability to hold yourself if you are prepared to listen to him-through your conscience even if you are not born again. Through the Holy Spirit if you are born again.
4. God is still keeping people from sinning. Pray that God will keep you from sinning.
5. Do the needful- Return that person to the original spouse. Return that girl/ boy , wife/ husband to the owner because he/she is a child of God if you want to live.
6. If you want to die and your entire family continue with adultery!
7. God sent me to you today! Obey God’s simple counsel.
