Shamsudeen Bala, son of a former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Bala Mohammed has dared the Federal Government to send him to Kirikiri prison.
Accused by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of engaging in money laundering to the tune of N1.2 billion, Shamsudeen was arraigned, with four companies, before a Federal High Court on February 1, 2017 on a 15-count charge.
He was granted bail on February 3, 2015 by the same court which fixed his trial for March 27 and 28th.
Unpertubed by his short stint at the Kuje prison where he was ordered remanded on the first day of his apearance before his eventual release, the ex-FCT minister’s son took to his facebook post same day he met his bail conditions, boasting that “not even kirikiri can shut him down”.
