The Nigerian Minister of Transportation and former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, while invited on channels television said the former Minister for Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode went away with 2 billion Naira he was given by the former governor of Rivers State, Peter Odili, to repair the Port Harcourt airport runway. The honorable minister said this on live TV, the presented asked if he is sure of his allegation against Femi Fani Kayode, the minister said: " I'm the minister of Transportation and former governor of Rivers State, I have all the records".

However, many Nigerians are still waiting for the former Minister for Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode, to defend himself from this allegation leveled against him by the minister.
