Anticipated Violence : Access Bank Orders Workers, ‘ No Tie, Just ‘Dress Down’,

Access Bank grows profit by 40% to N177bA new generation bank, Access Bank, has ordered all its members of staff to “dress down” starting from Monday, February 6, 2023, for security reasons.

 

PLATFORM TIMES further gathered that due to possible security threats and riot that may occur this week, the bank has ordered its staff members to “dress down”, no tie and no formal dressing.

It further warned those of its staff that wear the Access Bank branded T-shirts, that they should not have them on for the week, starting from Monday.

PLATFORM TIMES gathered that the management passed the message to the workers through through its official mail to avoid being attacked by angry and hungry Nigerians .

PLATFORM TIMES further gathered that the caution message became imperative following the recent riots that erupted in Lagos and IIbadan, the capital city of Oyo State.

An impecable source who pleaded anonymity told PLATFORM TIMES that “the bank’s branches were expected to open on Saturday and Sunday, but they had to cancel it based on what happened in Ibadan on Friday”

Nigerians have been groaning over the scarcity of naira notes and fuel .
