Yesterday, news made the rounds  that 37 billion Naira equivalent in USA dollars was allegedly recovered from a farm belonging to a former top government official . The farm is located in Nasarawa state. This news has gone viral and  has generated a significant level of interest. It can be revealed now  seven military Hilux trucks were witnessed leaving the farm in Nasarawa state heading to Abuja.The trucks are believed to be evacuating the farm produce from the dollar farm. While most Nigerians are speculating that the owner must be a Nassarawa state born politician , we can  report that the owner of the farm is not  necessarily a native of Nasarawa state. It is common for  top government officials in Abuja to own farms in Nasarawa sate due to the comparatively low  cost of land in the state which shares boundary with Abuja ,Nigeria’s capital.
