The former queen of the Ooni of Ife, Zaynab Wuraola Otiti has finally reacted to the news of her ex-husband’s marriage to a 25-year-old prophetess.
The palace had, in a statement sent to DAILY POST by the Director, Media and Public Affairs of the palace, Comrade Moses Olafare, explained that Ooni married the woman because of the spiritual strength she will bring to the kingdom and the fear of God in her.
However, reacting to the news, the former Yeyeluwa, in a short statement on her verified Instagram page, said that there is grace in forgiveness.
She also congratulated the King on his marriage to his new queen, wishing them God’s blessings.
Zaynab wrote: “It was once said that there is nobility compassion, beauty in empathy, and grace in forgiveness.
“Congratulations to the Ooni and his new bride, Shilekunola Naomi Morounke Oluwaseyi. May God bless your union”.
