Dayo Laoye attended Yaba College of Technology in Lagos, Nigeria and Howard University in Washington DC. The Artist; disclosed to OASESNEWS that Yaba College of Technology taught him the “eyes of arts called Visual arts” while Howard “inculcated the theory of art” in him. He went further to say that “when these two are added together they become visual arts and theory of art”. The Presidents Gallery showcased Laoye’s art works last year at The Presidents Gallery on the 11th floor of Harold Washington College in Room 1105, “it was a very successful exhibition session”, Laoye concluded.

Dayo Laoye agreed with OASES News that very few Nigerians appreciate the work of Artists in Nigeria but Nigerian artists are well recognised and respected outside Nigeria.
