Council of Igbo States in Americas makes new appointments

The State Representatives/President Councilhas deliberated on the nominations of the slates of the candidates below, their prospects and value added to the Council of Igbo States in Americas’ (CISA) workforce, and has unanimously voted to welcome them and their corresponding cohorts to the family of CISA.

The recentreviews and recommendations process that brought in these mavericks (additions) was designed to safeguard our gains and to engender accountability and improvement, as well as to ensure prospects for continued growth and development at CISA.

On behalf of CISA, please join me in welcoming these new additions to CISA service excellence initiatives tag lined, “one people, one voice, one destiny”; the epitome of services to our people through brotherhood, friendship and accountability.

In lieu of our 2015 2nd Igbo worldwide Festival of Arts and Culture scheduled for July 23-25 2015,these additions are welcome “value added” to CISA community development initiative moving forward. Together, we continue to leave our imprints on the landscape of Americas, from Canada to the United States.

Marcus Tullius Cicero, a Roman Philosopher once reflected in one of his oratory that humans are all motivated by keen desire for praise, and that the better a man is, the more he is inspired to glory. Long live the Council of Igbo States in Americas (CISA).

On behalf of the Council of Igbo States in Americas, I remain humbled.
