Council of Igbo States in Americas (CISA) mourns with Actor, Producer, Singer and Director Chigozie Atuanya

Council of Igbo States in Americas (CISA) mourns with Actor, Producer, Singer and Director Chigozie Atuanya the passing of his father, Elder Dominic Nonyelum Atuanya of Nri in Aniocha local government in Anambra State.
Those of you who were present at the 2014 1ST Igbo Worldwide Festival of Arts and Culture would testify that Chigozie Atuanya not only “electrified” the event with his performance, but also, added value to the festival with his “Chetanna”; the first African Magic Igbo movie (with English caption) that he debuted at the festival.

Sad to add that Chigozie also, lost his father’s sister within this week; that is to say, that while he is making plans to bury his father, his Auntie died, supposedly of broken heart from losing her brother.

With heavy heart and deep sorrow, Council of Igbo States in Americas (CISA) mourns alongside Chigozie Atuanya, the family and the entire Nollywood community whom we are certain mourns with their comrade .

Condolences messages can be sent to the family through Chigozie Atuanya by e-mail at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it." target="_blank">This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

May heaven bestow them with all its glories upon their arrivals!

President, Council of Igbo States in Americas (CISA
