Controversial CoolFM’s On Air Personality, Daddy Freeze, has reacted to a memo by the Redeemed Christian Church of God, asking members to stop broadcasting the Church daily devotion (Open Heaven) on social media.
RCCG had reportedly sent out a memo dated January 2nd 2018, to all its branches informing them that ”The posting or publishing of the open heavens devotional on any social media platform without the permission of the author is illegal.”
Freeze who is widely known as a big critic of pastors and preachers wondered why a man of God will stop the rebroadcasting of the devotional which is is another way of spreading of the gospel.
In an Instagram post, Freeze said, ”Someone sent this to me…. Could it be true? Or it’s just Photoshop.
”If it is not true then fine.. but if it is, why should it be illegal to ‘share’ open heavens? Isn’t it the ‘word of God’? From a man of God? You see the way I beg people to share my messages why can’t they do same?
”Also with 34,000 branches according to the website and so many pastors who must each have a copy, that’s thousands of copies sold within the church alone, are you seeing what I am seeing?
”Come to think of it, it’s actually a good thing as one aunty in my estate forum is always disturbing our lives with ‘open heaven’ every morning.”
