Is Nollywood Actress, Motunrayo Adeoye Dead? Veteran Yoruba Actress “Motunrayo Adeoye” dies after long battle with chronic ulcer in Ibadan, oyo state.

According to reports, The talented actress died this morning June 1st and she will be buried today at her residence located at Akobo Ojurin, Ibadan Oyo State today according to Islamic rite.

Motunrayo Adeoye is among the top 10 most featured Veteran Yoruba actresses rocking the scene. She is a niece to first class Oba in Yoruba Land, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, the Alafin of Oyo town, Oyo State.

She got admission to study Electronics at the Technical College, Osogbo, Osun State. Shortly after that, she came to Lagos and she spent 7 years before she returned to Ibadan when she got a job at BCOS as a studio/audio manager.

She later jetted to Switzerland for a 7 months course to acquire more knowledge about the profession in 1979. Education for her started at Ansarudeen Primary School, Agunpopo, Oyo Town, from there to Anglican Secondary School in the same town before her higher education.
