Bautista Reacts To Suspension Of Production On Guardians Of The Galaxy

Actor Says He Is Not Sure He Wants To Work For Disney

Dave Bautista, has revealed that he might not feature in the continuation of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, due to the suspension of James Gunn.

Bautista, who played Drax the Destroyer in the movie, revealed this in an interview on the Jonathan Ross Show.

Asked about the franchise’s future since firing director James Gunn over his past problematic tweets, Dave, who remains loyal to the fired director, said, “It’s a bitter-sweet conversation um, no it’s a bitter-bitter conversation because I’m not really happy with what they’ve done with James Gunn.”

He continued, “They’re putting the movie off. It’s on hold indefinitely. To be honest with you I don’t know if I want to work for Disney.”

This comes one week after Disney/Marvel suspended the production of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
