INTERVIEW: OWO SINGER/SONG WRITER BOLANLE VICTORIA OJOTU TALKS ABOUT OWO MUSICAL CULTURE IN CANADA

Her mission is to preserve Owo culture in music and to promote love and peace. She is a multi-instrumentalist with the locally made instruments; Dundu - talking drum, sekere, Oseghe/Sokoroyo, odudu and gangan etc.  

Welcome to the world of Chief Bolanle Victoria Olayinka Ojotu, She is  from Owo (pronounced locally as "Ogho"), Ondo State, Nigeria.  She came to Canada for a short visit last weekend and despite her tight schedule she was able to grant the interview.  Her creativity and artistry are unmatched, she is a seasoned artist with the voice of our generation that can lift a wrestler from his feet.  During the interview she used her skill and voice to energize her hosts.

Chief Bolanle Victoria Olayinka Ojotu was also a guest of Owo Community Association where she thrilled Members of Owo Community Association in Toronto with one of her songs shortly after their monthly meeting.
