Movie producer and actress Toyin Aimakhu’s ex, Seun Egbegbe was arrested this morning for trying to steal nine iPhones at Computer Village, Ikeja.

The nine items; seven pieces of iPhone 6s and two pieces of iPhone 7, are valued at about N3m going by the present selling price.

Seun had tried to flee the scene in a jeep after the incident, which happened around 10 a.m. this morning, November 22, 2016, but passers-by were quick to nab him.

One wonders if Seun Egbegbe was hypnotised to steal the iPhones because it makes no sense for someone who’s acquired some wealth to steal what he can easily afford.

Seun and Toyin started dating less than three months after the actress separated from her husband of two years, Adeniyi Johnson over infidelity allegations last year.

Their romance ended in February this year following the actress’ kidnapping that was linked to the movie producer, who many say is a serial woman beater and jealous lover.
