Kebbi hospital use stick as IV Infusion stand

It is no news that the health sector of Nigeria is in shambles. Everyday, the mortality rate in the country continues to be on the rise due to unavailability of medical aid and equipment. Well, it appears most hospitals lacking in facilities to treat patients have resorted to making do with the available, some of which is rather interesting.

A Nigerian man identified as Daudu Isah Marafa recently took to his Facebook page to share a photo of the improvision done by the General Hospital, Kebbi state, in order to administer drip on his step mother. In place of a regular metal rod used to hang the drip, the hospital, clearly short of those, used a stick instead. Sharing the photo, he simply wrote: "This is general hospital zuru female ward were my step mother is currently admitted look at the facilities.
