She cried out in agony, begging people not to leave her to die - How a mentally challenged woman delivered a baby boy

Good Samaritans helped woman with mental issues deliver her baby. Her water allegedly broke yesterday around 4a.m on Ayodele street, Ebute Metta, Lagos. Her cry of agony soon rented the air.

Yesterday, September 16, a mentally challenged woman gave birth to a bouncing baby boy in Ebutte Metta area of Lagos.

According to an exclusive from Linda Ikeji, the mad woman was said to have had labor pains on Ayodele street in Ebutte Metta. She cried out in agony, begging people not to leave her to die.

This got to some good-spirited Nigerians who helped her deliver her baby on Ayodele street in Ebute Metta around 4am. They however called the Lagos state Emergency number, which came and conveyed the new mum and her baby to Lagos State Island Maternity hospital where she and the bouncing baby boy are doing well.

The baby was named Ambode. In case anyone might want to give the woman and the new baby food and clothes, they are said to be currently on the 3rd floor, ward 3A Island Maternity Lagos.
