A man is lucky to be alive after he tried to commit suicide by climbing on an electrical pole.

Videos of the shocking incident showed that it occurred outside of a restaurant in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Many people who gathered to watch the incident unfold begged the suicidal man to get off the electrical pole, but he refused.

The incident occurred at around 10:00 p.m.

The power was off at the time, but the witnesses, including Apostle Chibuzo, the G.O of Omega Power Ministry, begged the man to come down, knowing that at any moment, the power was going to turn back on and he may be electrocuted.

As they predicted, the power came on and sparks of fire were seen coming from the wire. People thought that the young man was electrocuted.

He fell to the ground, but to everyone’s great surprise, the suicidal man got up and was able to walk away. Police took the man in for questioning and to give him the help he needed.
