Nigerian Lady Calls Off Wedding After Realising Her Rich Fiancé Doesn’t Take Care Of His Parents

A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to narrate how she called off her wedding few years ago after discovering an unpleasant truth about her fiancé.

According to the lady with Twitter username @Ruleyourspace, her now ex-fiancé lived in Lekki, Lagos state, spends lavishly at clubs and splashes millions on friends but he does not take care of his parents.

She came to the conclusion after paying his parents a visit in Ejigbo and seeing his mum selling ugwu (vegetables) by the roadside. The woman revealed that her fiancé’s parents lived in a dilapidated house.

She was forced to cancel the wedding plans and end their relationship upon seeing the condition his parents were living under despite their son being a rich man.

In her words; ”Called off a wedding with my ex some years ago because he took me to visit his parents at Ejigbo. Dude lived in Lekki. Buys drinks for total strangers & spends millions for friends but your mum still sells ugwu by the road side? Uncompleted zinc house. Take care of your parents.

This man told me that he was working on some things and will do the needful. Some of my friends were like how is it your business but my mum supported me with her full chest. It was not easy because but God was there until l met my hubby today, see the way they care for their
Mum, e dey sweet me die. My mum is late now and my mother-in-law is such a sweet soul. The children and grandchildren love her too much.

Ladies, a man that does not care for his parents should not be entering your eyes. If he does not love his mum, chances are you will be the same way when he tires of you.”
