The teenage boy said that the teacher groomed him via Facebook for five months, before the two started having sex.
Now, the 15 year old is upset after the teacher avoided a jail sentence following a guilty plea. Berriman was ordered to pay fines and do community service.
The teenager said that he and Berriman had sex more than 50 times in the space of a few months.
The teenager also said that on some occasions, they had unprotected sex and at one point, Berriman told him that she was pregnant.
The boy's mother discovered that the two were having an inappropriate relationship and she reported it to the school. As a result, Berriman was suspended and later terminated from her job.
Berriman pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual activity with a child and sexual activity with a child in a position of trust.
She was sentenced to do 250 hours of community service and she was fined $150.
