A thief was arrested on a charge of rape after allegedly raping two women at the same time and sexually assaulting a third woman, police in Nigeria said.

 Osun State police said that they have arrested 27-year-old Festus Oyetola, after being accused of raping two women while robbing them and six other women.

Oyetola was charged with two counts of rape, one count of indecent assault and counts of theft. He was booked in to jail, and denied bail.

According to the police investigation, Oyetola was part of a criminal gang that focused on robbing women. On the day of the incident, Oyetola broked into a home, where 8 women were residing.

He threatened the women with a gun and stole their cash. He then sexually assaulted one woman before she fled. Oyetola then raped two women at the same time while threatening them with his gun.
