Edet Umoren, a teacher in an Ogun state private school, has beheaded a 10-year-old pupil, Precious Adedeji, because his salaries haven't been paid, Punch reports.

The school, Favour Nursery and Primary School, is located in Esugbo, Itamerin near Ijebu-Ife, Ijebu East Local Government Area of Ogun State.

Adedeji was the granddaughter of the proprietor, Pastor Joseph Olitoye.

It was gathered that Umoren allegedly killed the pupil because Olitoye owed him N8, 000 – the suspect’s salaries for January and February.

Umoren, also severed off the right hand of the 10-year-old girl after seizing and dragging her into a nearby bush, a day after her birthday.
