Akindolie goes home

The Vice President of Yoruba Community Association, Toronto. Canada; Chief Dayo Akindolie celebrated the life of his mother at C.A.C. Church, Agbala-Itura World Wide Toronto Assembly (Fenmar Dirve), Toronto, Canada on Saturday.  

A farewell in form of Service of songs in memory of Late Mama Atolaigbe Abegbe Akindolie  who died at the age of 96.  Late Mama Atolaigbe Abegbe Akindolie was born in 1920 at Ondo City, Ondo State of Nigeria to the family of Chief and Mama Olamonto Akinlaja.  She died in Ondo City, in Ondo State, Nigeria as a result of old age. 

The officiating Pastor; reminded all that we all came with nothing and we would leave with nothing but our characters remain the focus of discussion.  He advised all to be of good character and be closer to God as nobody knows the time, hour, minute or day the death would come as death is inevitable.

Chief Dayo fought tears as he read his mother's coglumen (Oriki) in Ondo dialect. 

Members of the Yoruba Community Association were in attendance to give their support and bid Mama Atolaigbe Akindolie goodbye.  The burial ceremony takes place in Ondo State Nigeria next month.
