Police are looking to arrest three men who allegedly robbed and gang raped an elderly woman in her home, police in Ghana said.

 New Akrofuom police said that the incident unfolded on Wednesday.

According to the police investigation, three men broke into the woman’s home and began looking for cash. When the woman identified as Martha, asked them what they were looking for, they beat her up and she lost consciousness.

When Martha woke up, the men took turns raping her. They then took her valuables and fled from the scene. The woman, who was left bleeding, ran to a neighbor’s home and called the police.

So far, no arrests have been made.
