An elderly woman is dead after trying to help a cow give birth for the first time, according to police in Norway.

 Nordland police said that the 80-year-old woman, who was not identified, was with her husband when the cow attacked her.

The woman’s 83-year-old husband, who was not identified, was seriously injured when he tried to save his wife. The owner of the cow revealed that he will execute the animal for killing the woman as he does not want it on his farm.

According to the police investigation, the cow attacked and killed the woman when she tried to help the cow give birth for the first time.

A neighbor who saw the woman and her husband battling the wild cow, used a stick to fight off the out of control animal. The couple was taken to a nearby hospital, where the woman died of her wounds.

The husband is recovering. The woman’s son revealed that his mother helped a lot of cows give birth in the past and she was never attacked.
