Two men, aged between 22 and 25, were on Tuesday remanded in Ilesa prisons custody by an Osogbo Chief Magistrates’ Court over alleged
murder of UNIOSUN student.

The accused persons include , Elijah Oyebode, 22, and Yusuf Ajibade, 25.

The Magistrate, Mr Olusola Aluko, ordered that the accused be kept behind bars due to the magnitude of the offense committed.

The accused persons are facing two count charges of conspiracy and murder.

The Prosecutor, Sp Mireti Wilson, told the court that the accused committed the offense on Dec.23,2016 at about 1:00 pm at Egbeda Iragbiji area in Osun State.

Wilson said both accused conspired to kill one Rofiat Damilola. a 400 level UNIOSUN student and dumped her corpse thereafter.

He said Ajibade and others at large did unlawfully received one iphone 5.valued N100,000 from Oyebode knowing to be a stolen property.

He said the offense contravened sections 324,319(1) ,427 of the criminal code cap 34 vol.11laws of Osun, 2003.

The plea of the accused was not taken.

The case was adjourned to March 30 for mention.
