A gang of armed robbers  have unleashed their wrath on one of own member in the Ijora Badiya area of Lagos, Omojuwa.Com has gathered.

According to eye witness who is also a residence of the area, Omojuwa.Com was told that the robbery gang, popularly know as the ‘Akamaye Boys’ earlier today, robbed a woman who lodged in a hotel in the vicinity. The gang members allegedly robbed their victim of her jewelry, cash and mobile phones.

However, trouble started when a member of the gang, Habeeb popularly known as ‘Small Messi’ refused to release the stolen items.

Habeeb’s refusal to release and share the loot led to a bitter confrontation from other members of the gang.

In the process of forcing Habeeb to divulge the stolen items, a member of the gang (Unidentified) brought out an armed gun, aimed at Habeeb’s head and shot him at close range.

Omojuwa.Com gathered that Habeeb died on the spot due to the fatal injury he suffered while his gang members fled the scene immediately.

As at the time of filing this report, the Police are yet to react to this unfortunate incident.
