BREAKING News: NNPC Sacks Three Top Managing Directors Over N11bn Missing Petrol (See Names)

Three high-ranking officials of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation have been officially sacked by the corporation over their roles in the N11bn missing petrol.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation on Thursday announced the sack of of its three senior officials and deployed four others to man the vacant positions.
 
The sacked officials are linked to the N11bn missing petrol scandal.
 
While making the announcement today, the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, NNPC, Mr. Ndu Ughamadu, said the sacked officials:“In line with the ongoing reforms in the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, the management has announced the retirement of some staff and the deployment of others. The retired staff are Mrs. Esther Nnamdi-Ogbue, Managing Director, NNPC Retail Ltd; Mr. Alpha P. Mamza, Executive Director, Operations, NNPC Retail Ltd; and Mr. Oluwa Kayode Erinoso, Manager, Distribution, NNPC Retail Ltd,” Ughamadu said.
 
He added, “The deployments are Mr. Adeyemi Adetunji, Managing Director of NNPC Retail Ltd; Engr. Lawal Bello, Executive Director, Operations, NNPC Retail Ltd; Mrs. Affiong Akpasubi, Executive Director, Services, NNPC Retail Ltd; and Mr. Agwandas A. Andrawus, Manager, Distribution, NNPC Retail Ltd."
