The notorious kidnap kingpin declared wanted by the police simply, nicknamed Evans, has been arrested in Lagos.
He was arrested at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport on Saturday policemen while he was on his way to travel out of the country.
The police recently placed N30m bounty on him after the arrest of some of his gang members.
The gang had kidnapped many businessmen in Lagos and environs.
Police say he usually forced his victims to pay at least N50m before they were release.
