Anambra World-wide Diaspora Organization (ASA-World) congratulates, Governor Willie Obiano, newly elected House of Assembly Members and Ndi-Anambra for a peaceful election

Anambra World-wide Diaspora Organization (ASA-World) congratulates Ndi-Anambra for a peaceful election as it commends His Excellency, Governor Willie Obiano on his role in strategic piloting of the State.  

Kudos! to all the winners in the recently concluded April 11, House of Assembly Election in Anambra State. Election victory represents confidence from the electorate. Along with record historic victory of this magnitude comes an implied mandate that also carries with it an imposition of responsibilities that should not be taken for granted. This mandate also means that the effort to build a bridge across political divides; between those who were voted in and those who lost out should simultaneously be part of the transition.

The world-wide Diaspora factor should always weigh heavily in the minds of those charged with the public trust, from conceptual, planning to the implementation stages of your promise to the citizenry. Because Anambra is yet to reach its promise as the “light of the nation”, the impact of the Diasporas in sourcing emerging technology and available resources must not be far removed in your mind.
