Max Naija says that President Goodluck Jonathan is to be appointed global crises envoy by the United Nations (UN).

While this looks like a long reach, if it does pan out it would make the president the first African head-of-state to hold such a position.

This role bears similarity to Tony Blair's career path, who became the Middle East envoy for the UN after leaving office. Jonathan will over the UN affairs for the African continent.
