President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday described Late Oronto Douglas, as a loyal aide who stood by him through thick and thin.     

The President made the description while speaking at Mr Oronto Douglas' funeral at the Saint Peters Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Yenegoa, Bayelsa State.

According to CHANNELS TV, President Jonathan said, that Oronto was a dedicated and committed special adviser who stood by him till the end, without any sign of betrayal.

He also spoke of how he had become Nigeria's most documented president because following the works of Oronto Douglas.

Oronto Douglas served as Special Adviser on Research, Documentation and Strategy to President Jonathan until his demise.
