The Nigerian military continued to win the war against insurgency in Northeastern Nigeria as troops recovered video recordings of scenes of trials, beheadings, executions, floggings, stonings and those shot during preparations for suicide bombings. According to a military source, the recovery of such recordings was another giant stride in defeating the insurgents.

Major General Chris Olukolade, the Defence spokesperson, when contacted, confirmed the recovery of arms and ammunition and the discovery of the video recordings. According to Olukolade, they are being subjected to analyses. Over 1000 women and children have been liberated since their invasion on Sambisa about a week ago.
