The cop who was caught on tape attempting to collect bribe from a road user he seized in Ekiti State has apparently been captured and detained. 

You would remember a video of the unidentified bribe seeking cop requesting that a driver give him pay off and that he prefers cash after the driver had offered to give him the cash digitally after he got the road user driving without a tint permit. 

The driver was heard begging the cop to acknowledge the exchange as he had no money on him but he was determined on his choice to take cash prior to releasing him and said that his expressions of remorse and requests won't be taken on the grounds that he needs to feed. 

In a development to this story, the Ekiti Police PRO took to their official Twitter page with the handle @PoliceNG_CRU reported that the said cop who was caught in the video has been found, captured, incapacitated and confined for additional investigation and disciplinary action. 

As per the Public Relations Officer, the anonymous cop was acting in an amateurish and degenerate way.
