Idayat Yusuf, a spokesperson for the families of the victims abducted from the Abuja-Kaduna train, has shed more light on what they gathered from the only victim that has reportedly been released by the bandits. 

Idayat shared the revelations on Arise News while lamenting the response of the concerned authorities.

You may recall that bandits recently released the Managing Director of the Bank of Agriculture (BoA), Alwan Ali-Hassan, after he was abducted on the Abuja-Kaduna train. 

Discussing Alwan's revelations, Idayat said, "Yes, we met with Alwan. Families of the abductees had reached out to him, and a meeting was held. Some of us went to the meeting with pictures of our family members, and he recognized a lot of them. He recognized my sisters, and he told me that he thought they were twins, as they looked alike. He said that they are okay, but they live in an open space in the forest. He stated that the bandits had changed their camp more than five times.

She added, "He told us that they were in Niger and that they trekked in the forest for days."
