The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has warned one of its chieftains, Femi Fani-Kayode against making crude remarks about the party.
Fani-kayode, a former Director of Media and Publicity of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation had blamed the ongoing crisis in the party on its leaders.
The former aviation minister described some members of the party`s NWC as “enemy within us”, stressing that two members of the committee were working for the opposition in the course of the election.
He accused its former chairman, Adamu Mu’azu of selling out the party during the last election.
Reacting to Kayode’s allegations, the PDP leadership called for severe punishment to be handed on the former minister for questioning the integrity of its leadership.
PDP in a statement ordered the PDP in Osun State to investigate if Fani Kayode was a registered member of the party.
