Ifeyinwa Orji, the daughter of 82-year-old Goddy Orji, has revealed how her father was killed by his sibling. During a visit to the victim’s relatives in Nnewi, Anambra State, Channels TV was informed about a property dispute between the affected siblings, which may have led to the unfortunate incident.

IFEYINWA ORJI SAID,

“My uncle shot my father while he was eating dinner. The tenants were not around when my uncle went inside to pick up his gun. However, the sound of the gunshot drew the attention of the eyewitnesses, and they proceeded to contact me.

A relative of the deceased, Christopher Okeke, also revealed that prominent leaders of the community had delivered judgement on a land dispute between the siblings before the incident.

Channels TV learned that there was a protracted misunderstanding over a piece of land between Goddy and his brother, Peter.

However, their kinsmen reportedly resolved the issue, and Goddy was awarded the custody of the land as he was the eldest sibling. However, an argument erupted over a utility bill and it led to the unfortunate incident.
