Following his arrest, photos of the singer, Seun Kuti posing in handcuffs have been released.

Popular Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti, who happens to be the son of Afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti, has been arrested.

He was on Monday arrested and handcuffed following his visit to the Lagos State police commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa.

Following his arrest, photos of the singer in handcuffs have been released.

It has been earlier reported that the musician honoured his word that he would cooperate with the police by turning himself in on Monday.

SaharaReporters learnt that the musician went to see the police commissioner in company with a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika.
