Bandits have reportedly released the remaining two abducted students of the Federal Government College Birnin Yauri in Kebbi State.

It was gathered that the two girls identified as Faida Sani Kaoje and Safiya Idris, were released by notorious bandit leader, Dogo Gide, on Thursday morning, May 25, 2023, after an intense negotiation between the victims' parents and the kidnappers.

Recall that eleven female students were abducted when the school was attacked by the gunmen on June 17, 2021.

The bandits have been releasing the girls in batches after payment of ransom by their parents.

In April 21, 2023, notorious bandit leader released four girls, Bilha Musa, Faiza Ahmed, Rahma Abdullahi, and Hafsa Murtala.

Two of the girls had become mothers and were released with their children. One of the girls revealed to her parents that they were forced to marry some bandits.

Three other girls, Elizabeth Ogechi Nwafor, Esther Sunday and Aliya Abubakar, were later released by the bandits on May 7.
