Jackson Ude, a Nigerian Government critic has on Saturday questioned the authenticity of the doctorate degree of Nigeria’s Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu.
In an X post titled
“IS BETA EDU A REAL DOCTOR OR A FAKE ONE?” Jackson Ude insisted that “Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation Minister, Beta Edu needs to be investigated not only for financial crimes but for her academic records.”
“Did she actually graduated from the University of Calabar with a Degree in Medicine and Surgery?
“And why did she pay $7,800 to be awarded a Doctor of Public Health from Texila American University run by Texila American University Ltd – Hong Kong (TAU-HK)?”
“And what primary school did Beta Edu attended and what year did she graduated?” Jackson Ude further asked while saying he is “digging deep”.
