The Regent of Akungba-Akoko community in Akoko South West local government area of Ondo State, Princess Oluwatoyin Omosowon has been reportedly kidnapped.

Omosowon, was kidnapped yesterday evening with three others in her car when they were on their away to Akure, the State Capital.

Daily Post gathered that the regent was among the invited guests for the Federal University Technology Akure (FUTA) 65th inaugural lecture held yesterday.

Sources informed Daily Post that the regent, with the three others might have been kidnapped in Ose community before getting to Owo local government area of the state.

Already, indigenes have begun a protest this morning over the missing of their regent.

Major roads linking the community have been blocked by the protesters
