Owo Community Association, Toronto, Canada is pleased to announce Mr. Olawale Olajide David as its new President. In addition, members also elected officers to fill various positions.
Mr. Olawale Olajide David's goal for the association is all about building relationships and developing together as a class, to give utmost support to the Yoruba Community Association (YCA) which is the umbrella of all Yoruba affiliates in Toronto and to teach our children on how to speak, read, write, and comprehend Owo dialect as well as Yoruba Language.
Mr. Olawale Olajide David is described as extra-ordinarily realistic, pragmatic, passionate, dedicated and a man of high integrity.
Newly Elected Officers
During the swearing in ceremony of this newly elected Officers, The Board Chairman; Mr. Franklin 'Soji Adeyeri praised the new officers and in his statement he said "we are incredibly proud of Owo Community Association achievements and confident that the association and new officers will continue to excel in prestigious position in diaspora".
The Electoral Committee Chairman; Mr. Michael Kehinde Abiodun charged the new officers to be good ambassadors of Owo Community Association, he advised further that they should remember that the DNA of OWO is in all Owo sons and daughters. Mr. Abiodun later conducted the swearing-in oath with full handshake congratulating each officer.
