A 50-year-old science teacher, Vincent Uzomha working as a supply teacher, is being treated in hospital. He was stabbed in the stomach with a kitchen knife  after a shouting match with a student. 

According to reports, Uzomah who had just worked at the school for a month was stabbed by a 14-year old student who was using a mobile phone during science lesson in the class.

Meanwhile, the student has been arrested shortly after he scaled the fence.  Uzomah is said to be in stable condition.
