Former National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Prof Attahiru Jega, yesterday made a triumphant entry into the Bayero University, Kano (BUK) as he returns to his teaching job.

According to Leadership Newspaper, Prof Jega, who arrived at the university at about 10am amidst rousing reception by staff and students, first reported to the Vice Chancellor to signify his resumption of duty .

The former INEC chairman had on several occasions disclosed his desire to return to classroom soon after the expiration of his tenure.

Receiving Prof Jega in his office, the Vice Chancellor of BUK, Prof Abubakar Rasheed, said the university community was happy to have Jega back whom he described as the institutions’ great ambassador.
