I am totally at rage with African leaders in general, I am dismayed and mostly at raged with the Nigeria government and it leaders. Nigeria has been labeled to be African giant for over 40 years, she is so rich and more so Africa is a blessed nation in all ramifications of life and its existence, but corruption has eaten
deeply into it soil of creation that it has now extended its political mumbo-jumbos to its foreign corrupt counterparts , a medium used for embezzlement and to Siphon public funds and defraud the masses of its natural resources and wealth.
I was opportune to be amongst those born in the 70s and since my existence there has never been a light-out for a day in Nigeria, mockingly, smile-raged, suffering and smiling, how ridiculous and degrading it is for the government of Nigeria with a population of over 160 million ignoring a total dark-out in the country and of which has never had on its record to have provided a one month constant electricity to its citizens for over 50 years since independent?, this is absolute an incredulity act!
While I was growing up , I have always been told that I shall then one day be one of the leaders of Today, but there has never been a chance given to my generation to become a leader, except for those whose parents or family are one of Nigerias economic sycophant, of course some of which I will mention in this write up, it has always been the same government, same leaders and same political parasites and power driven political extremist like Mr Akpabio of Akwa Ibom state, who seem to have become a baron with his barbaric attitude posing a godfatherism in the Nigeria political saga , gallivanting at the corridors of power without caution. Surprisingly, I doubt if I have ever grown a year older since I was born or rather? I think say i don enter one chance bus for my government or leaders hand ( mocking).
The government of Nigeria and it leaders: since the independent are so corrupt and insincere to its people, that, for over 50 years of independent it can not provide electricity to over 160 million bona-fide citizens of a great country Nigeria, and ironically a single entrepreneur AKON could single handedly Provide Electricity For 600 000 000 people in African , whereas providing employment for thousands of African youths and graduates in less than a year, insanity, isnt that a SHAME? And more-so Nigeria is a country where a senator takes home in a year over 340 million naira or $1.7 million approximately to his\her self, aside other mouth watery dividends of frauds and loots from the public funds. This simplifies that a Nigerian senator can give a whopping sum of $400 000 as a pocket money per annum to Obama the president of the United state of America, and meanwhile the masses that voted them into power becomes a third class citizens in his\her own blessed country, hanging on less than 2 dollars a day, 60 dollars a month and 720 dollars per annum , so humiliating .
I AM REALY AT RAGE, WHY CANT NIGERIA HAVE A CONSTANT ELECTRICITY?
Yes of course! It is without doubt, Corruption can not be totally eliminated in the country, even the western world has its own economic crises and other pressing problems but they do not lack infrastructures, good road and electricity. The Spanish has been in recession for years, Italy is also facing its own problem while the Greeks are presently battling with a financial bailout for its debt relief. All these country are not as richly blessed as Africa or Nigeria in terms of natural resources, but they have never had a 60 minute or 24 hours black out.
In my own opinion, this is so disgraceful to our leaders or to any of our past and present government, they have all ruled us in the past and are still ruling as at present, if they can not provide electricity to the people of Nigeria within 4 years of their respective governance, then they have all failed NIGERIANS as a whole. Africa is blessed throughout the 365 days in a year with sunlight and wind, these are sources of ENERGY, we have the fund and resources to bring light to every home in Nigeria irrespective of whether they live in the rural or urban area of the country. And Do you think we dont have the fund to bring a constant light to Nigerians? Alright, lets do a simple mathematics; multiply 109 senators by 360 million naira, even my calculator could do a total sum up.
I guess, if am not wrong that will be approximately 392, 40 000 000 trillion naira. Thus implies that only 109 senators earn a 3 or more years total budget of Nigeria in a year, therefore who is fooling who? Cant the Nigerian leaders see that we the masses are no longer blind as we can now see through our noses that we have been fooled for over 50 years after independence?
AKON PROVIDE ELECTRICITY TO 600 000 000 AFRICANS
Akon, is an African from Senegal, an American singer and an entrepreneur, yet he is not as rich as the so called Nigerian (Africas richest man) Alhaji Aliko Dangote but he AKON provides electricity for 600 million people in Africa. Logically, if I may ask, who is richer? if the so called African richest man cant even provide light for only Lagos state in Nigeria for over 10 years assuming his status as the richest man in Africa, let alone constant light for NIGERIANS as a whole, so (DISGUSTING). It is a big disgrace to you African Richest Man Aliko Dangote, am not leaving untouched other rich men\woman in Nigeria, whose wealth were also gotten from the exploits and extortions of Nigeria citizens, the likes of Mr Mike Adenuga Globacom, Folorunsho Alakija , Theophilus Danjuma ,Femi Otedola (Fort Oil Plc) Tony Elumelu, Former Ex- presidents, Mr Obasanjo, IBB, Jonathan and co. I personally and Nigerians as a whole are profoundly disappointed in all of you .
AKON is a single man whom God has touched to give back to the people , yet you all aforementioned bodies and so called rich men\woman had achieved immensely from exploiting Nigerians, looting public funds and also converting our national wealth and resource to your personal heritages for your selfish interest, someday the wrath of God will visit you all. I am at RAGE, and so is GOD , the words of an innocent man is the word of GOD.
Furthermore, the youths that were promised leaders of tomorrow are now the slaves of circumstances today, wallowing in poverty and hunger around the continent, seeking for a greener pasture elsewhere, wherein his\hers has more than enough in their motherland, but are seen forced by situations to enslave themselves in order to survive, No employment for graduates or hopes for the undergraduates, then, what happens to the later generation? You all have destroyed Nigeria and propel it citizens to dive into an un-Godly act and activities, due to an extreme poverty and hunger. Remember, No sinner will go un punished says the Lord. No impunity.
My conclusion, if this present Government would be kind enough and reasonable with conscience, then, all those involve in the down fall of our great country Nigeria should be probed, from military dictators to past and present government and those abroad be extradited back to the country and be punished as well, that, I think would make President Buaris policy of zero tolerance for corruption to have a niche and significant impact on the lives of the innocent citizens.
Furthermore , if this present government can install light, I mean bring electricity to the whole country , just like mobile Telecommunication was brought to the country a decade ago (Kudos to OBJ), this would be the greatest achievement that any government would ever bring to the people of Nigeria since independent, and it will never be forgotten in the history of our great country Nigeria, as i am so sure this is one big problem our country have which has contributed to its insecurity , poverty and also has stopped the foreign investors from investing aggressively in our country. Who says there can never be a stable and constant light in Nigeria?, I guess only those political and economic terrorist, the dubious leaders, the above mentioned business men\woman whom have always sabotage all efforts to bring electricity to the country, they alone can say there can never be light in Nigeria, because they fear that their fewer means to drain Nigerias economic will be blocked , they do everything possible to stop the power sector from providing constant light to the country, as such electricity plays a very important role in a countrys economic growth , development and productivity. May God deliver Nigeria from the hands of these mischievous leaders. Am not done yet. To be continued ..
