Instead of calling for help, he buried the woman in the shallow grave.

 

In this most unbelievable twist of human surprise, a woman has come back to life after her fiance killed and buried her just a day after proposing during a contentious argument.

A woman has resurrected to life after her fiance thought he choked her to death before burying her.
 
The bride-to-be told her story after the miraculous resurrection said she was strangled by her fiancé. Stacey Gwilym, 34, was attacked by Keith Hughes, 39, after they got into a row during a romantic walk at Caswell Bay, on the Gower Peninsula, South Wales, just days after he proposed.
 
She fell unconscious and Hughes, believing she was dead, tried to hide her body in woodland.
 
The bodybuilder who was convicted of attempted murder at Swansea Crown Court and sentenced to life, must serve a minimum of eight-and-a-half years.  Stacey told the court that she was unconscious before she woke up and found herself in a shallow grave covered with branches and leaves. She managed to crawl out of the grave and called police.
 
Hughes was arrested by the police who threatened police unaware that Stacey was safe had said:  “You'll never find her body.” He was shocked to learn that she was still alive.
 
Hughes later confessed in court that he was afraid what will happen if police found out he killed her which made him to bury her in the woods. Hughes said: “I panicked and thought about what I have done. I did not intend to kill her.”
 
However, instead of calling for help, he buried the woman in the shallow grave.
 
“I felt very bad about what I had done. I thought she was dead so I just left,” he told the court.
