The unfolding saga “DASUKIGATE” reminds me of the African moonlight stories we used to listened to back in the days when honesty, morally good behavior or character, civics education was an essential elements of our upbringing. Those stories were guidepost to ethical uprightness.

The good old days when our public office holders were diligent, patriotic, nationalistic, and without sounding like a romanticist worshiping the past, they are also moderately honest in the service of the motherland.

Most people from the south west of Nigeria would be conversant with this song about Ijapa and Yanibo. The story line will not be retold in this piece but it is a framework booster to our reflectiveness on this subject Dasukigate.

The money laundering, sharing and spiritual hocus pocus we are witnessing in this theater of the Jonahedeens followers is just a tip of the iceberg.

The evil we are confronting is larger than our scope: Obas, Ezes, Emirs, Imams, Pastors, Babalawos, Marabouts are all partakers in the Yam sharing conundrum.

The ugly twist to this festering odoriferous cancerous story to my mind is the Bafarawa spiritual connection.

Is the money paid Bafarawa for spiritual consultations and sacrifices meant to replace the need for Arms purchase to presecute the war on terror (Boko Haram) since Jonahedeens philosophy forbids the use of Arms in conflict situation rather their preference is to consult Marabout to wish terrorism away with a magical stick and create confusion amongst the populace.

Baba said it also in his commentary that they were out to create confusion and chaos. Jonahedeens wanted to play GBAGBO on us with spiritual mysticism by making a zombie of Nigerians via Marabout hypnoticism but their hocus pocus backfired when their tower of babel came crashing down.

It was a christmas or Eid ul fitr and sacrifice bonanaza for Imams, Pastors, Babalawos, and Marabout eveyone feasting on Dasuki largesse. I wonder if our catholic priest was not a stakeholder in this dishonourable Egunje.

Note: It is/was never the agenda or plan of Jonahedeens to eradicate Boko Haram.

Is Dokpesi radio and television propaganda for the Jonahedeens PDP another strategy in the war against terrorism wherein political campaign propaganda is meant to convert Boko Haram into PDP members.

I guess they needed more people to vote for them so religious fundamentalist was their best bet, oh lest I forget Jona himself said it umpteenth times that he knew those behind Boko Haram, ahahaaaaa they are all good old jolly friends now I understand the logic why they are not willing to take them on militarily since it serves their political end.

It is unfathomable, why & how National security adviser will be paying for political party propaganda using funds meant for Arms purchase for the prosecution of the war against terrorism.

Is Dasuki Financial secretary of PDP or Treasurer/Accountant?. We all know better.

Boko Haram for them is/was an instrumentarium to declare a state of emergency, Okupelization of the discourse then refelected this mindset please do not forget our potbellied service chiefs in this whole drama.

Jonahedeens are machiavellians, for them the end justifies the means.
