The exhausted bovine had just given birth to a calf when her kindly owner approached and attempted to wipe her down
This poor woman had her kindness repaid in the worst way possible when she attempted to comfort a cow just minutes after it had given birth.
The woman, wearing long plastic gloves, had obviously been helping the bovine as it pushed out its calf.
But when she went to pat the cow down afterwards, she received a swift kick to the face, knocking her to the floor.
One Reddit user wrote: "The cow is obviously in a very vulnerable situation, if you aren't intimately familiar with the cow or providing care, don't touch them during birth."
Another simply added: "That's how you get a concussion."
The video was actually uploaded back in 2012 but has recently reemerged after being shared on several social media sites.
Amazingly, the short 15-second clip has now had more than 5.3 million views .
It is not clear whether the woman was injured by the cow although she still appears to be conscious after the blow to her face
