A stray lion was on Friday morning spotted roaming Mombasa road, near the City Cabanas area.

Police have confirmed that an elderly man who was injured by the lion has been taken to hospital and is in a stable condition.

Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) has deployed three units of wardens to the City Cabanas area to capture the lion that strayed from the Nairobi National Park.
