A Canadian Business Is Offering A Job And Land To Anyone Willing To Move There

The Farmer’s Daughter County Market, Cape Breton, an island at the eastern end of Nova Scotia in Canada is offering a job and two acres of land if you relocate.

The store located in the village of Whycocomagh has been inundated with thousands of applications since the announcement. The announcement went up on Facebook with the store saying it could not offer “big money” but it did have “lot’s of land” at its disposal. The advert has already attracted over 3,500 applications. The store says they have already hired all the suitable locals and needed more applications. They are offering two acres of land to build a house on which will be yours to keep if you stay working for more than five years.job

The island lifestyle sounds ideal for the adventurous outdoor type. “It’s an area surrounded by beautiful mountains and the shining Bras d’Or lake where kayaks and canoes outnumber motorboats” the Facebook post read.

This is not the first time the island, with a population of roughly 135,000 people has put out an unconventional call for people to migrate. In February this year, the Island’s website invited Americans who were worried about Donald Trump winning the elections to move.

“Don’t wait till Donald Trump is elected President to find somewhere else to live. Start your new life in Cape Breton, where women can get abortions, Muslim people roam freely and the only walls are holding up the roofs of our extremely affordable houses”
